Candidate with 4+ years’ experience to work on a range of exciting large scale residential as well as hospitality projects out of our Gold Coast Studio. This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm.
With an immediate start, we are looking for a talented and design focused candidate for this appointment:
The Role
- Participate in all stages of the project from Concept Design to Construction Documentation as well as Construction Services, in a team environment.
- Interface and communicate with clients and consultants.
- Interpret client briefs and prepare inspiring design outcomes.
- Collaborate with all design disciplines within our practice.
- Communicate effectively at all levels with other personnel within the studio.
Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of interior design experience in high rise residential and hospitality sectors.
- Revit and / or AutoCAD.
- Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Building technology, fabrication techniques and materials used in medium to large scale projects.
To be successful in this role you must be a collaborative and motivated person, demonstrating the following qualities:
- Recognised academic (Bachelor Degree) qualifications in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- Excellent visual and interpersonal communications skills.
- Excellent design skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a varied workload.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
